May 10 2008 Latest Message from Matt

The Sideswipe Performance team and I have been bouncing around Europe for the last few weeks. We have been to Spain, Greece and Italy performing for the US military at different bases. It truly has been an amazing experience. The Navy has been flying us on a C-26 military aircraft which is truly unique, because civilians never have a chance to see Europe like this.

We have two more days of shows and then the team is heading back to Turkey to perform on a talk show and I head back to LA. I'm up for two different films right now, and I hope I will have more details soon. Ciao!! Matt

March: Matt was featured on the cover of MA Success. The article covers Matt and Sideswipe's inspirational journey over the last six years.

April: Be sure to be on the look out for a new Yellow Book Commercial featuring Matt. It will begin airing in April.

May: On their first European tour, Matt will be leading Sideswipe to shows for the US military in Italy, Greece and Spain.

It has been a great start to a New Year!

After finishing shows for the Orlando Magic and at Busch Gardens with Sideswipe, I immediately came back to LA to continue work on a new series called Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. I play one of the lead roles in the series, and even though I can't give you more details on the series, keep checking back to this site. Once I get the thumbs up to talk, you'll be the first to know everything!!!

I also finished filming a small but prominent role as Price in the new movie Blood and Bone, starring Michael Jai White. The martial arts film is about a drifter (White) who falls into a mob-controlled street fighting ring in Los Angeles. The film is expected to be released sometime in 2009. It was such a blast to work on the film. Michael Jai White is an amazing martial artist and actor. I was so inspired watching him in Spawn and Universal Soldier 2; it was a huge honor to have an action scene with him.

Jan 27 2008 Matt Mullins and Sideswipe Walk for Autism

On April 26, Sideswipe will perform at the annual Walk Now for Autism event at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. This has become a yearly event for Matt and Sideswipe as they have been participating in this fundraiser for the last three years. Sideswipe has performed for several similar Walks in Dallas and Chicago.

The Walk Now for Autism is the nation's largest grassroots autism walk program and the signature fundraising and awareness event for Autism Speaks. This successful grassroots fundraising effort not only generates vital funds for autism research but also raises awareness about the increasing prevalence of autism and the need for increased research funding to combat this complex disorder.

This charity event is particularly close to Sideswipe's heart, as they see the effects of autism on friends and students. Fans of Matt and Sideswipe can help the organization by attending and/or participating in this event. For more information, log on to www.autismspeaks.com.
