Matt Mullins has been involved in TV, film and commercials for the last eight years. His interest in the entertainment was set in motion at the age of 8, when Matt began participating in musicals and stage productions. At 16, he finally had the opportunity to attend his first acting class and start to pursue his passion. He began his professional training at Audition Studios and Second City in Chicago. While training there, he booked his first commercials for America Online and Winn Dixie.
Following encouragement from an agent in Chicago, Matt decided to take the next step in his career and move to Los Angeles where he was quickly cast in commercials for Nike, Pepsi and Applebee's. He continued to refine his acting skills working with Doug Warhit and at the Harvey Lembeck Comedy Workshop. Matt stayed active in the industry by performing motion capture for video games such as Tao Fang, Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.
In 2003, Matt received national notoriety by being featured in Discovery Channel's award-winning documentary XMA: Xtreme Martial Arts. In this same year, he also landed his first lead role in a feature film as Johnny Danko in Roger Corman's Bloodfist 2050. More opportunities arose in 2004 as Matt booked another lead role in the feature film The Adventures of Johnny Tao.
This past year has been the most productive for Matt as he starred in commercials for Carlsberg Beer and the highly-broadcasted Motorola Razr 2. He also completed a prominent role in the movie Blood and Bone set to be released this year. Currently, Matt is working on the series Kamen Riders Dragon Knight, a TV series set to start broadcasting in the fall.
